Should we be afraid of AI taking control? What will happen to us, as feminists, and to our values, our organizing, our economy, our labor, and our knowledge? Shouldn’t feminists start talking about AI, automation and surveillance?
Revisit an insightful KW event from May 2023 where we convened to ponder the implications of AI’s advancing influence on feminism. In this session, we were honored to host Nadine Moawad, a feminist and tech activist. The discourse of this discussion delved into the multifaceted impact of AI, automation, and surveillance on our values, organizational endeavors, economy, and the way we work. The accompanying visuals stand as a testament to our commitment to open space for brilliant feminists who can push us to collectively think about the future of feminism within the ever-evolving landscape of surveillance and technology.
